the aetna shirt  by thei american brand monadic is a relaxed fit top with discreet double pockets. functional minimalism was the design goal. the top pockets are meant to blend into the body of the piece with a very tight curvature at the bottom and the removal of a top stitch at the entry of the pocket. this navy seersucker fabric comes from osaka, japan. the fabric is light weight and 100% cotton. seersucker is a bumpy textured fabric that is woven in such a way that that some threads bunch together and give a wrinkled appearance. this feature helps keep the fabric off of the body and increases air circulation and why this fabric is so good for the spring & summer seasons.
