momotaro x stuf|f | 0605-sfg 15.7oz natural tapered 5-year-anniversary jeans

5 years – 60 months – 60 pairs – 2 fits

unbelievable this year we celebrate our first five years of business! 5 years and we still feel like the new kids on the block (okay we also still feel like 28 sometimes…, but let’s forget about that). we decided to celebrate this 5-year-anniversary with an exclusive and limited edition of 60 pairs of jeans - for 60 months of stuf|f -, split between 2 fits. this collaboration with our friends from momotaro jeans include the 0306-sfg tight tapered, a very slim and modern tapered fit, with a medium/low rise, fitted thigh, and a very strong taper over all. next, the 0605-sfg natural tapered is a little more roomy in the top block with a generous taper from the knee down.

the fabric we chose for both collab pieces is momotaro’s famous 15.7oz unsanforized denim normally used for the brand’s vintage label series which is only available in japan currently. this exclusive denim is made of 100% zimbabwe cotton and dyed to the darkest blue natural indigo possible. the denim has that hairy surface and the perfect amount of slub and character. the jeans have been pre-washed which ensures that no further shrinkage will occur when it is eventually washed.

the design of the jeans is very clean and puristic with a few subtle details including a collaborative deerskin leather patch, printed pocket bags and brown cotton thread instead of the typical pink inseam stitching .all the illustrations, e.g. on the leather patch, pocket bags, paper etc. were created for us by the düsseldorf artist and good friend of ours, max fiedler.
