the g005-mz by momotaro is a slim tapered jean and is made in japan from a 14.7oz pongé selvedge denim. in the weft a hand twisted silk thread has been interwoven at slow pace using the vintage toyoda loom machines that resulted the non-uniformity of thickness on its appearance. from cocoon to the silk thread until it becomes a denim, the surface has a unique shine. pongee produces a small hump on the surface and creates a sluggish gloss and unique texture.
