the standard straight jean from schaeffer's garment hotel is one of the best slim straight jeans we've seen so far. the jean is made in los angeles from a rope dyed indigo denim from japan's renowned nihon menpu mill. this fabric has a rigid yet very soft feel, is easy to break in and develops a unique patina with wear. each pair is handmade above the sgh store on sunset boulevard in hollywood.
