this stuf|f exclusive cap toe boot is our take on a true alden classic, the color 8 shell cordovan parajumper boot. instead of the very sleek grant last, we opted for the more versatile barrie last. the result is a boot perfect for the office and for the evening with friends in the bar.
but the real star of the boot is the leather. alden shell cordovan boots are tanned with a traditional, pure vegetable tanning process and are hand finished. this process takes a full six months to complete in the single tannery still producing genuine shell cordovan today. the resulting leather is soft, supple, and made to last. over time, it adapts more and more to the wearer's foot, providing an excellent fit that feels like it was custom-tailored.
