these field shoes are rmc’s take on the n-1 official us navy boots during ww2. they have a sole made of crushed twine, which originally acted as a non-slip surface on the deck. they are made in japan from steerhide suede which has been treated with dubbin by hand to offer water resistance. these boots will beautifully age the more often you wear them.
