jelado | s/s lennon shirt black
the 'lennon' shirt by jelado is inspired by vintage military og-107 shirts issued to the us army throughout the 1960's. the og-107 was the basic work utility uniform (fatigues) of all branches of the united states armed forces from 1952 until its discontinuation in 1989, with surplus garments often finding their way to thrift stores. the relaxed fit shirt is made in japan from a washed herringbone twill (hbt) and has been sulfur dyed for a vintage look and feel and to aid the ageing process. the name of the shirt is derived from john lennon who wore a military fatigue shirt on the cover of his 'live in new york' album.
