the sjmj24-01 indigo jacket is samurai's own interpretation of a classic field jacket. the jacket with the two large patch pockets is made in japan from an indigo black spotted dobby fabric. samurai wanted the fabric to look as if an indigo dyed fabric had been overlaid with black dye. as the black yarn will not fade as easily as the indigo one, the more the jacket ages and the blue fades, the more visible the beautiful speckled pattern becomes. a must for fans of great patina.
