perfect for the warmer months: these jeans by left field nyc are made in usa from the brand’s new summer weight 11.5oz japanese jelt denim. "jelt" denim originally was developed by lee in 1925 to make a lighter more comfortable denim to work in, but with the strength of a 13oz denim. this was a special process developed by lee with a tighter weave and twisted yarn to achieve the tensile strength of a heavier denim. the greaser fit has a straight leg with a slight taper and a medium-high rise, similar to ‘50s-style dungarees.
