the lot. 001xx from the real mccoy’s is back. it is modelled after a 1955 denim silhouette featuring a classic straight silhouette with a subtle taper from waist to hem. for this version the 14.5oz denim used has been carefully re-engineered to match vintage specifications, with attention to yarn quality, thread count, indigo dye applications. it is woven with yarn produced on japan’s oldest spinning machines and the indigo dye is applied seven times, faithfully reproducing the dyeing quality of the period. the result is a beautiful natural slub denim that will develop incredible fades with wear and wash, just like the original from the 1950s.
