the 400z by ues is based on vintage jeans from the 1920s/1930s, has a higher rise, a classic, relaxed leg, and many authentic details such as a cinch back and crotch rivet. like the original, the back pockets are slightly offset to the left and right, which was intended to protect the pockets from wear and tear when riding, sitting, etc. the jeans are made in japan from a new, heavier 17oz denim made from an american cotton blend and feature a sturdy hand and a great irregular texture.
