buzz rickson's | br14870 l-2b - skyline clothing corporation

the japanese-made type l-2b jacket by buzz rickson's is a faithful reproduction of an original vintage jacket. the l-2b is the third model in the l-2 series and was used from the mid-1950s until the 1970s, when it was replaced by the cwu-36/p jacket. the biggest change compared to the previous model, the l-2a, is the color. after the end of the korean war, the u.s. air force (usaf) changed the color of the flight jackets from air force blue to sage green. in addition, the sizing was changed from inch to m, l, etc.
