tcb | storm cats drive jacket

the storm cats drive jacket by tcb is an exact reproduction of a lined storm rider jacket by lee from the 1940s. the jacket is made in japan from a 14.6oz left hand twill and is lined with a beautiful striped wool fabric (made from recycled wool). like the original 1940s jacket, the lining is not sewn to the denim at the waist. we can only speculate as to why this was the case back then. perhaps it was because they weren't sure how both fabrics would shrink, or because they wanted to give the cowboys more freedom of movement.
