the dominator by lewis leathers is a very stylish and elegant jacket that was first introduced in the early 1960s. being somewhat overshadowed by the popularity of other ll jackets the dominator has become one of ll’s bestselling jackets in recent years. definitely also because the punk rock icon sid vicious wore the jacket in the early days of the sex pistols. featuring twin zippered chest pockets, twin front side pockets and adjustable waistbands, the 551t is easy to match with everything. it’s skilfully made in the brand’s own small workshop in england, from lewis leathers’ famous sheepskin leather that is smooth and super soft and makes it easy to break the jacket in. with time and wear the jacket will beautifully age to great vintage look. the silhouette of the jacket is the slimmer “tight fit” that was developed for the japanese market and is hard to find outside of japan. this fit is perfect for those who want to wear them not just for motorcycling.
