these trousers are a combination of several vintage pants styles. the construction and pattern are inspired by 1930’s ~ 1940’s light weight twill work chino uniforms. but the silhouette could be reminiscent of a late 1950’s ‘ivy league’ classic slacks type, with its slimmer legs, fitted seat and mid rise. and for the hem mister freedom opted for a ‘tailor shop’ look and left the bottom open. this version of the sportsman chino is made in usa from beautifully dark nos 10.5oz indigo denim twill that will beautifully age with time.
