this 30th anniversary a-2 jacket by buzz rickson's is based on the 3rd model that rough wear delivered as many as 30,000 units in 1941. the pin-up lining is a tribute to the lockers and barracks of the soldiers at that time. forced to lead a life without women in the military service, the photos of the pin-up girls were cut out of the magazines, stuck on the walls and in the lockers and worshipped almost like goddesses.
